HIV/AIDS/PMTCT
Midwives were trained in HIV/AIDS counseling and are providing voluntary counseling and testing. PMTCT services include counseling of pregnant mothers and their partners. Testing for HIV and offering ARVs to the HIV positive mothers and their babies.
Antenatal care
Midwifes conduct AINC both in clinics and during community outreaches. The services include education, AN booking, AN risk assessment, intermittent presumptions treatment of malaria with Facidar, HIV counseling and testing, immunizations. These midwives ensure goal oriented AN care is provided
Deliveries
They conduct clinical and domiciliary deliveries and referrals where necessary.
Postnatal care
This is a service midwives are promoting, as it under looked by many health providers.
Community sensitizations and outreaches
These are done to promote the well being of the pregnant women, their husband and children. Topics include HIV/AIDS, FP, immunization, Birth Plan and many others.
Immunizations
TT is give to all pregnant mothers who attend ANC and children given from polio BCG, DPT, Measles and vitamin A supplement.
Prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections
Health education on types of STDs and their spread is done both in clinic and community. Condoms are supplied free to the youth. Syndrome approach to the STDs is done at clinic level.
Counseling
Midwives do counsel clients according to their needs e.g. FP, HIV/AIDS, domestic violence, drug abuse and many others.
Advocacy
Is widely done to protect their clients from abuse and also demand for their rights, e.g. reproductive health rights.
Adolescent friendly services
The youth are being attracted by indoors and out door games to the clinics before games. Midwives give session about adolescent health likes life skills, Drug and sexual abuse, prevention of STDs including HIV/AIDS
Post abortion care
Midwives are equipped with skills to offer comprehensive abortion care and do sensitize community about sex issues including unsafe abortions
Minor curative services
This include malaria, home accidents, and wounds.

Improved Child Health Practices (ICHP)
Mid wives do treat malaria, cough and diarrhea in children to ensure child survival.
